Terms of SERVICE.
This ‘terms of service’ (together with the documents referred to in it), tells you the terms of service on which you may make use of Thai Go Massage Therapy (referred to hereafter as the ‘Our’, ‘We’ or the ‘Company’) website thaigomassage.co.uk (our site), whether as a customer, guest or a registered user. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our site.
To use our services, you must be 18 or over.
Please read the following terms of service carefully as they contain important information regarding your rights and obligations as a client.
These terms create a legally binding agreement between you and us. By accessing or using the Site, you are accepting this Agreement and agreeing to use the Services by the terms and conditions in this Agreement.
Some of our Services may have additional rules, policies, and procedures. Where such additional terms apply, we will make them available for you. A copy of this Agreement may be downloaded, saved, and printed for your reference.
As a condition of your use of the Services, you confirm and warrant to us that you meet the eligibility requirements and have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement or, if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to this Agreement.
If you do not agree with all of the provisions of this Agreement, do not access and/or use the Services.
If you violate any of the Terms, your permission to use the Services and Website will automatically terminate.
If we have to contact you, you agree we may do so by telephone call, text message, or email to the number and address you provided when you registered or updated an Account or that you used to communicate with us. You agree that we may use automatic telephone dialling equipment and other technology in connection with these communications.
BOOKING.
We only accept bookings via our booking page. The booking calendar will display all available times and ask you to provide the address of where you would like to receive your massage. We will not be liable for any delays caused if you provide inaccurate information.
After placing a booking you will receive an email confirmation from us acknowledging that we have received your booking.
PRICE AND PAYMENT.
Prices vary according to the type and duration of Service as described on the website.
By making a booking you agree to provide complete, correct, and true information including billing and payment information.
Bookings are made via Acuity Scheduling. When finalising the payment for your chosen Service, you can choose to either pay the full amount up front or pay a deposit of 25% of the total price. If the latter is chosen, a payment of the remaining 75% of the total price is due after the completion of your massage. A Square payment reader is then used to make the final payment.
Payments are processed via Square. Square works with any UK-issued and most international tap, chip and PIN, magnetic stripe cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron or Vpay logo. The following card types are accepted; Credit, Corporate, Debit, Prepaid and Rewards.
We reserve the right to increase without notice its standard prices, discounted prices, and offers published within this website or in other literature, websites, marketing material, price lists, or in any other medium.
CASH PAYMENT.
If you would like to pay with cash, please contact us or email info@thaigomassage.co.uk. A unique code will then be issued to the customer for their booking checkout. We will then collect the full payment upon completion of your massage.
We reserve the right to decline this service to customers who have previously cancelled an appointment without 48 hours notice.
PROMOTIONAL CODES.
Promotional codes entitle you to a discount as set out by the promotional terms and conditions of At Home services.
Promotional credit is capped at one code per booking.
Customers deemed to be abusing the terms of these promotional credits will have credits removed from their account and/or their account closed.
subscriptions.
Returning customers can request a link for a recurring subscription. This subscription entitles the subscriber to claim one product per month as described at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions are available for both 120-minute massages and 240-minute back-to-back couples massages, providing customers with the opportunity to receive these services on a monthly basis at a discounted rate.
Log in to your Acuity account on our booking page and view your subscription code by selecting "Manage Codes." Book your appointment at the desired time and apply the remaining codes at checkout to receive your free session.
Bookings can be canceled, and your code will be made redeemable again for future use with no penalty fee.
GIFT VOUCHERS.
Massage Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or goods.
Massage Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be entered as a coupon code during checkout to be activated.
Massage Gift Voucher bookings are by appointment and subject to availability in the normal way.
If the treatment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice the Voucher may become null and void.
All other General terms and conditions apply.
BOOKING CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS.
You may cancel a confirmed Booking at any time via your acuity scheduling account or by contacting info@thaigomassage.co.uk or calling 07340508360.
A full refund will only be given if we have notification via the contact methods above and are given a minimum of 48 hours notice before the time of your appointment. If 48 hours is not given then your deposit will not be refunded. This applies regardless of when the customer books in terms of proximity to the appointment. When a client books, they electronically block out the opportunity for another client to book at the same time resulting in a negative opportunity cost for our therapist. We reserve the right to cancel any Booking without notice or cause.
NO SHOW.
No-shows or no-notice cancellations will not have their deposit refunded. You will be considered a “no-show” if you fail to be at your designated property after 15 minutes of your booked appointment time.
DELAYS.
If you are delayed please let us know by calling 07340508360 and we will do our best to accommodate you. We cannot guarantee delays of more than 15 minutes will be accommodated.
DURATION.
Our treatment times will never be less than the time paid for. However, the aim is always to deliver a treatment that is most appropriate for the client on the day of the massage.
Therapists reserve the right to continue the massage for longer if it is felt that the client may benefit from a slightly prolonged treatment.
If clients would prefer not to receive additional massage, they are requested to let the therapist know before the treatment begins.
RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS.
If you request to reschedule a confirmed appointment with more than three hours notice you will not incur any charge.
If you request to reschedule a confirmed appointment within less than three hours of your appointment start time, and your Massage Therapist cannot do the amended date/time, your Booking will be treated as a cancellation and will be subject to our Booking Cancellation and Refunds terms and conditions. If your Massage Therapist can do the amended date/time then you will not be charged.
TERMINATION OF TREATMENT.
Therapists reserve the right to refuse, terminate or defer treatment to any client, at their discretion. Our Therapists may refuse to undertake treatment should this be contraindicated due to medical or other conditions that the client may present with, due to concerns regarding the health, safety, and well-being of either the client or the Massage Therapist.
In this instance full payment is still required and no refund will be given.
Examples of when this may occur include:
If the client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of treatment;
If the client has withheld or not provided information relevant to treatment;
If the client’s actions, words, or behaviour are inappropriate or of a sexual nature;
If the client is threatening, aggressive, or violent, or in any way poses a risk to the Therapist.
MEDICAL HISTORY AND HEALTH.
Before their treatment, clients are provided with a Client Information Form. By signing the Client Information Form they consent to the following:
The client will give complete and accurate information and any other relevant details regarding medical history and health and will inform Thai Go Massage Therapy of any changes that occur that may affect treatment or mean that massage is partially or completely contraindicated.
The client consents to receiving massage treatment which is complementary to conventional medicine and understands that it is not an alternative to or a replacement for any conventional therapy or medicine they may require.
The client understands that the Therapist may wish to contact their GP or other health care provider regarding treatments and that the client will be asked to permit before this is done.
Where consent is required from the client’s doctor or another medical professional, and this has been refused or not given, the Therapist will discontinue treatment or decline to treat the client.
Each person reacts differently to massage and in no case do We guarantee any particular outcome from a treatment or series of treatments.
GDPR AND YOUR DATA PROTECTION.
During the initial consultation, you will be asked to provide some personal details including name, address, date of birth, and some medical information to ensure that any treatments
I provide are safe and appropriate for you. These details are only recorded in paper form and are retained in a lockable file cabinet to which only your Therapist has access.
They are retained only for insurance purposes and will never be shared with any third party.
We will use your contact information to contact you directly regarding your treatment, for example, if it is necessary to reschedule. We do not use your data for marketing purposes and will never pass your information to third parties.
