Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Luke and I am a self-employed Thai massage therapist.
I started Thai Go Massage Therapy to return people to their innate peace through the medium of massage.
I have been massaging since the first day I could walk on my father’s back. It is no surprise that I fell in love with Thai massage the moment I learned it.
I believe Thai massage brings huge benefits to our lives by enhancing our mindfulness, community spirit and physical wellbeing. However, I found the essence of Thai massage is often lost when it is adapted to Western audiences and it struggles to find the perfect fit in society.
The answer to an increasingly remote world was to offer mobile massage. That way those with busy lives looking for a moment to deeply relax can have a spa massage experience from the comfort of their home. I set up Thai Go Massage Therapy so this is as simple and easy for you as possible.
I specialise in the Northern Folk style of Thai massage which is the perfect choice for those seeking a smooth and laid-back massage with a broad range of stretches. I use my expertise to tailor each massage to you.
Most importantly for me, massage is a vehicle for loving-compassion meditation and Buddhist ethics. With this in mind, I deliver a premium, professional service that always leaves my clients feeling valued.
My mission is to create a serene oasis In a space that feels most familiar to you.
Through the joy of traditional Thai massage, I aim to transport you to a state of innate peace, where stress melts away, and tranquillity reigns.
By providing personalized, professional, and convenient massage experiences, I aspire to be A trusted source for restoring balance, relaxation, and well-being in my client’s lives.

Traditional Thai Massage, also known as nuad boran, has a lineage that spans thousands of years. Rooted in Theravada Buddhism and traditional medicine, it combines massage techniques with yoga stretches.
It is commonly believed that the origins of Thai Massage date back around 2,500 years. Legend has it Jivaka Komarabhacca, the Buddha’s close friend and physician invented the massage in ancient India. However, Thai massage as we know it today most likely originated in Thailand around 1,000 years ago and has a myriad of influences including Ayurvedic medicine, Thai Hatha yoga, Japanese shiatsu, Chinese medicine and Thai indigenous medicine.
The variation I practice was formed by Ajahn Sintorn Chaichakan who led a renaissance in Thai massage and developed his style to represent the laid-back nature of Chiang Mai natives. As a result, the pace is slower compared to Southern Style which is more often used to treat specific ailments. Northern Style also incorporates more stretches and exercises to enhance your range of motion.
What is Traditional Thai Massage?
Unlike other massages, Thai Massage is traditionally dry, meaning no lotions or oils are used. My clients wear loose-fitting clothing and lie down on a mat, while I guide them into different positions during the massage. I then apply pressure to different areas of the body using a combination of stretching and acupressure techniques. My training allows me to deliver a deep massage in a way that avoids causing pain or discomfort. In accordance with ancient theory, these techniques are applied to energy (sen) lines that carry vital force (lom) throughout the body. The objective is to release trapped energy, to encourage the organic flow of life force and to uphold overall well-being.
Thanks to its evolution alongside Buddhism, Thai Massage has become synonymous as a form of loving-compassion meditation. In the spirit of this, I work to relax your body so that you can find peace and stillness. Ultimately, bringing you the sense of physical and spiritual well-being that Thai Massage is famous for.
